Dogs for the Deaf.

They train clever dogs to help deaf people – in a nutshell that’s what they do. They train dogs to alert deaf people to sounds they would otherwise miss – simple sounds that many people take for granted like the doorbell, alarm clock and even danger signals like the fire alarm. Being aware of these thanks to a hearing dog – makes a real difference to deaf people’s lives.

Please come along to hear from Merlene Watson who is deaf and will be bringing her dog for the deaf along with her.

Stourbridge Glass is recognised as amongst the finest in the world and has been used countless times as gifts for royalty and visiting dignitaries to the UK.

Please come along to hear from Ian Drury all about glass making. This will be on Ian’s last talks as he is retiring.
