Dementia Connect service is ready to support people affected by dementia in Warwickshire.
Dementia Connect is Alzheimer’s Society’s pioneering, expert service for people affected by dementia in Warwickshire and across the UK. People can live well with dementia with the right support and Dementia Connect in Warwickshire, has helped more people in the last 12 months, than ever before.
Our Dementia Advisers offer face to face and telephone support, to help people with dementia have better access to health, community, housing and care services, as well as providing crucial emotional support to them and their loved ones, so people with dementia can take control of their condition and live the life they choose.
Dementia Connect is funded by Warwickshire County Council and delivered by the Alzheimer’s Society.
By 2025 it is estimated there will be over 10,610 people over 65 living with dementia in Warwickshire, although dementia can also affect younger people. The Dementia Connect team in Warwickshire, is there to support everyone impacted by a dementia diagnosis, from the moment they are worried about their or a loved one’s memory, through to a diagnosis, post diagnostic financial and legal advice and end of life support.
