Hello again and here we are in 2026 looking back at what we achieved and looking forward to creating more artisan crafts.

During December 2025 we had an Arts & Crafts Artisan Fayre held over the same weekend as the St Laurance’s Church Annual Christmas Tree Festival, which we held in church hall opposite. This was a fabulous success and well attended by our residents and visitors alike. There was also a charity stall raising funds for a very worthy cause, Birmingham Children’s Hospital Ward 18 and you all gave so generously to this. We aim to repeat this event again in December, so watch this space!

Our next BIG event will be at The St Laurence Arts & Crafts Festival, hosted by the church itself at the end of May, the Bank Holiday weekend, Sunday 24th & Monday 25th May. (see poster for more info.) We are proud to announce that there will be 20 creative stall holders there as well as a raffle to keep your interest and refreshments, run by Bidford WI Thank you so much☺
Free entry, just donations for the church funds. This year they had the roof & ceiling repairs, so church funds are a bit low. ☹

And not forgetting this fabulous annual event hosted by the Stratford Art Society where many of our B50 Network folk exhibit. The Annual Summer Exhibition is held during mid-August, with over 600 exhibits of all creations, 3D, 2D, miniatures, browsers, digital. It’s all there. This year the dates are 12th – 23rd August held at KES, King Edward School, Chapel Lane, Stratford, CV37 6BE.

Don’t forget, many of our B50 network members have a stall at the Bidford Village monthly Saturday Markets. Go along and check it out, you won’t be disappointed. First Saturday Monthly, Bidford Village Square (by the memorial) Usually 20 stalls to browse and interest you.
