Our planet is dangerously overheating - the science is clear on this. But there’s no need to feel hopeless. The best way of coping is to get involved.
Bidford Climate Action is a new initiative, under the Your Village Your Voice banner – linked to Stratford Climate Action - to bring concerned people together, raise awareness and organise action in response to the climate emergency. One of the things we can do to help with climate action is to talk about climate change – in whatever way we feel comfortable – and use our voices to push for action.
If you are concerned about climate and environmental change and would like to talk to like-minded people, or would just like to find out more, please email bidfordclimate@gmail.com. With a gentle and inclusive approach, and a focus on information and looking for positive change in our community and beyond, please get in touch and we’ll organise a first meeting.

Bidford’s Clothes Swap At the Village Cafe, First Saturday of each month, 2-4pm
Starting Saturday 2nd September
Coffee, cake, a new outfit and a warm feeling knowing your unwanted clothes have a new life - what’s not to like?
How does it work?
- Dig out up to 10 items of clothing that you don’t want - clean and in reasonable condition, please
- Bring them along to the Clothes Swap
- Get a token to swap the same number of items
- Have fun choosing from the clothes, shoes, bags, hats, etc.
No money changes hands - it’s free to come and free to swap
Treat yourself at the cafe, make an occasion of it with friends, or just come along to the Swap
